About the Job 

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at ISA Cybersecurity, you will be part of a dynamic business development team and will be responsible for driving sales and engagement with new and existing clients. This role will be a driver of connections with a goal of expanding our footprint and acquiring new business. In this role, you will develop superior knowledge of our current customer base and will know who to talk to when it comes to pitching a new product or service. This person will be comfortable communicating at all levels and will be able to harness strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal person for this role will be resilient and eager to make new connections.


  • Develop and manage target prospect lists through CRM and accomplish cold outreach to potential clients
  • Generate qualified leads and set sales appointments
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
  • Follow up with inbound leads to assure satisfaction and respond to queries
  • Quickly identify opportunities through proper qualifying and analyzing customer needs
  • Drive attendance to webinars and events hosted by ISA and partner organizations
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts, activities, and results in company CRM system
  • Ensure all documentation is properly maintained and updated in a timely manner
  • Works with the broader sales team to identify opportunities and support where needed


  • 2-3 years of experience with a proven track record of generating qualified leads
  • Motivated to learn and has a proven ability to acquire new skills and expertise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong negotiations skills; quickly able to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and work within a high-volume environment
  • Highly-energetic and charismatic demeanor and able to capture interest and attention over the phone
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
