About the Job


The Director of Professional Services and PMO is an integral part of the overall functions performed by the Professional Services and Project Management teams. In this role, you will ensure compliance with established project delivery methodologies while fostering a culture of growth and excellence amongst the Professional Services and Project Management teams.

 

You will be accountable for the quality of work performed by the professional Services and Project Management teams through maintaining compliance with established project delivery methodologies. This role is responsible for driving the overall delivery of successful professional services projects for ISA clients.

Responsibilities


  • Oversees a team of Professional Services Engineers responsible for the following activities:
    • Advise and consult on cyber security risk mitigation strategies
    • Respond in a timely manner to customer requests
    • Execution of professional services activities as per statement of work
    • Creation of project deliverables, including documentation and presentations
    • Configure, manage, and upgrade a wide variety of security technologies, including but not limited to IPS, Firewall, and Web Filtering.
    • Follow ISA processes and procedures to meet and exceed SLA requirements and quality standards.
  • Oversees a team of Project Managers responsible for the following activities:
    • Provide project management functions to ensure successful completion of professional services projects.
    • Adhere to documented project delivery methodologies to ensure successful project outcomes.
    • Manage the scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality of professional services projects.
    • Document project change requests as required.
    • Creation of project plans and project schedules.
    • Work within the professional services automation tool to create project bookings, tasks, and plans.

 

  • Resource assignment of Professional Services and Project Management personnel, to ensure projects are delivered according to client expectations.
  • Monitor all professional services projects for any issues relating to scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality.
  • Monitor the quality of project deliverables and work with the team to ensure that client requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Communicate and manage any issues relating to project delivery and communicate with project stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Continually work to achieve professional services utilization targets, and communicate any issues relating to utilization to management peers.
  • Manage training plans and personal development plans for the Professional Services and Project Management teams, so as to foster a culture of growth and development within the team.
  • Manage technical certification requirements of the professional services and project management teams.
  • Review statement of work and proposal documents and level of effort (LOE) for professional services engagements.


Qualifications:


  • Substantial experience in a professional services or project management office environment
  • Post-secondary education in computer-related environment or comparable work experience
  • Ability to proactively identify project issues related to scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality; as well as the ability to identify and implement solutions
  • Conceptual understanding of cyber security concepts and ability to collaborate constructively with security engineers
  • Thrive to meet or exceed ISA Support performance objectives and SLA`s, including customer satisfaction measurements
  • Experience providing customer service and support functions
  • PMP designation or equivalent
